Subject: Follow up of my interview

Respected Mr. Presley,

This letter is in regards to the interview that I had appeared for in your organization for the position of a customer care executive on 25th of March 2012. I would like to know the status of my interview.

When I had appeared for the interview I was informed that I would be informed about my interview status by 5th of April 2012. But, today is already 10th of April 2012 and no one has contacted from your end.

It has always been a long cherished desire to work in a reputed organization like yours and so I am eagerly waiting for the results. It would be really helpful if someone from your organization can let me know about my interview status so that I can plan further.
