I am writing this letter to apologize for not going for a date with you on 22nd July 2012. I was struck in some emergency office work which forced me to cancel the plan for going for a date. Actually an emergency meeting was announced with one of the top client of the company and I was assigned the responsibility to be the group leader of the meeting. I even requested my manager to release me and the give the responsibility to some other person but he denied my appeal. The Manager told me that the meeting would be over in less than one hour but the client started discussing some very critical issues and the meting starched for over six hours. I felt very sorry for not informing you about my absence as we are not allowed to take our mobile phones inside the company premises.
I strongly believe that you will forgive me this time and promise that I will never break your heart in the future time. I will eagerly wait for a next meeting with you.
