Subject: Attendance appeal letter.

Dear Mr. John

I am writing this letter to appeal for the attendance on 20th July 2012. I would like to inform you that my attendance was not recorded in the office record on 20th July 2012 as I was out for an official meeting with one of our clients in the company’s central London head office. It was an emergency meeting so I could not inform your office in advance. I am enclosing an official copy of the attendance letter issued from our company’s central London head office. I would request you kindly grant my attendance on 20th July 2012 on the account of the official tour. You will also receive a confirmation letter on this matter from the personal department of our company’s central London head office. I am enclosing a copy of the important developments which took place in the meeting for your kind information.

Hope that you will consider my appeal and take necessary action for the same. You can contact me in case you require any further information from my side in this regard.

Yours Sincerely

Michael Miller
