This is to inform you of my departure on 1^st April.  As you know, I am moving away to Houston for personal reasons.

I want to thank you for helping me in my role as a Project manager.  I must say, that I have learnt a lot from your invaluable advice and guidance.  At this point, I must also add that I have learnt not just professionally but also how to be a better person under your influence.
