Subject: Follow Up letter after submitting resume

I had submitted my resume at your esteemed organization last week. The submission was done in response to your post for the requirement for a software engineer in the local newspaper, Times Today on the 8th of January. I had submitted my resume at the mail id mentioned by you in the job post. Along with the resume, I had also sent a scanned copy of the educational qualification documents required by you.

I hold a master’s degree in Computer Applications and also have an experience of more than two years working as a software engineer. I am confident that I would be able to do complete justice to this position in your organization.

However, I haven’t received any revert from your end. Please let me know if you require me to resend the same. I hope to get a positive response from your end.
