I hope you receive this letter in good health. I believe that you must be aware that I am resigning from my position of an assistant manager with effect from tomorrow 24th of May 2012 and thus, I would like to bid you goodbye.

I have worked for a period of three years in this organization and it has been an eventful one. I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for the guidance, motivation and support that you have given me in that three years. I will also be missing my colleagues as I remember how we used to work as a team to meet targets.
