Dear Erika,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. How are you and your new baby? I hope she will be christened soon as you have planned. A new life really is such a blessing from the Lord and it is our responsibility as parents to start on the right foot and make them children of God early in life.
I hope I can visit you soon so we can share stories about motherhood. I know how hard it is to adjust to and talking with a friend helps a lot. I miss you also and hope we can talk about anything under the sun just like the good old times. Of course, it would be different now because you would be taking care of your baby, but that would make the visit all the more fun.
