Subject: A letter of request for refund

Dear Mr. Spencer,

This is to inform you that I have bought a Nokia mobile phone model 1120 from your mobile store Planet Mobiles Pvt. Ltd last month on April 21st, 2012 and it has led me to disappoint as some of its functions are not working properly. Before purchasing this mobile phone, I conducted a market research on the internet and found that this was a perfect handheld for me, as its technical specifications met all my requirements. The day I bought this Nokia Phone from you and opened the box, I was very disappointed, as its charging port was not working.

I have waited for a day hoping that its charging port will start working one day, but it never worked. I am shipping this phone back to you along with its accessories and request you to refund my payment of $ 120 at the earliest.

I fervently hope that you will understand my problem.
