Dear Joseph Melvin Cauilan,

It was truly an honor working with your well established company for almost 50 years. I would like to formally inform you that I am retiring from my position as editor-in-chief effective this upcoming November 31, 2009.

I am very thankful for the opportunities that your company has given me over the past 50 years. I am very proud and thankful to have worked in a well known company for a long period of time. it was indeed quite a wonderful experience to be part of your family.

We all have our own physical limitations and I believe that my working days have come to an end. To be honest with you, I really will miss working in your company as well as my co workers who have been very kind to me. If you have any concerns about this letter, please feel free to let me know.
