Dear Mr Roberts,

We are pleased to inform you that your application for scholarship for our university’s engineering program at the master’s level has been accepted and you shall now be able to pursue your studies here with a scholarship amount of $2,000 per year. The university shall apply this scholarship amount towards your tuition fees, thereby reducing the amount which you are supposed to pay by $2,500. The offer shall be applicable only if you meet and follow the rules and regulations of the admission procedure of the university and maintain a score of 4.0 GPA so that we know that you are working hard and we took the right decision in selecting your application for the scholarship.

Please confirm receipt of this letter either through mail or email and inform us whether you want to receive this scholarship or not by July 15. If we do not receive any mail from you, the scholarship will be given to the next deserving student.
