Please accept my apologies for not being able to arrange for the amount of money you required for the repair work that is going on at your place. I am feeling very embarrassed as this is the first time that you have asked me for such a help and I am not able to make any arrangement for you.

As you are aware that last month Chris got admission in the Xyz University and we had to deposit a huge amount of money for his course. The two fixed deposits we had were spent for his education and now we are not in a condition to manage the sum requested by you. I really want to help you in this hour of need and would request you to accept the small amount I have managed for you.

I apologize once again for my inability to help you with the entire amount. I hope you will understand my condition.
