If you have just graduated from college and you find it hard to land a job, then you may want to ask for a recommendation letter. A letter of recommendation is a letter in which the writer assesses the strengths, skills, qualities, capabilities and personality of the person being recommended. A recommendation letter may be used in finding a job, enrollment to a program, admission in schools or scholarship applications.

Asking for a recommendation can be very easy. If you were formerly employed, you may simply ask for a letter of recommendation from your boss. If you have just graduated from college, then you may want to ask a recommendation letter from your professor. You don’t have to be anxious by asking for a recommendation letter from your professor because it is one of their primary jobs. You may also ask for a recommendation letter from your friends especially to those people who have known you for so long because they can easily describe you for who you are.
